Nokona Announces The Hiring Of Jake Walker

We are excited to announce that Jake Walker will be joining our full time staff starting this fall. Jake is an outstanding addition to our coaching staff and brings a wealth of experience, knowledge, and energy to our program. A product of Milton High School, Jake graduated with a Bachelors in Kinesiology from the University of Rhode Island in 2020, and is currently finishing his MBA. Jake just completed his CSCS certification as well.

Walker was a pitcher for 5 years at URI, where he racked up 97 strikeouts for the Rams. Jake also excelled in the classroom, making the Atlantic 10 Conference’s Commissioner Honor Roll multiple times. Walker participated in the Perfect Game Collegiate Summer League in 2017, and also competed in the New England Collegiate Baseball League in 2018 & 2019 for the Ocean State Waves.

Jake brings plenty of coaching experience to the NAC as well. Since 2016, he’s conducted private lessons, clinics, and camps, as well as head coaching experience at the youth and high school level.

This is an outstanding opportunity for us, and we couldn’t be more excited to have Jake aboard with Nokona full time. He is a huge addition to our staff, and will quickly become a fan favorite of players in our program.

Jake is currently taking on new clients and lessons, and is available throughout the week. For more information or to schedule a session, visit us at nokonabaseballclub.com or you can reach Jake directly at

Welcome aboard Jake!!!
