A HUGE congratulations to 2022 Andrew Jacques on his commitment to continue his academic and athletic career at Gordon College!! The 16U Braves RHP has played with us throughout his high school career after moving from Cali, and has truly been a pleasure to have in the program. A kid that completely transformed himself during the shutdowns early in the pandemic, he used that down time to sculpt himself into a completely different person and a legit collegiate athlete. Our coaching staff barely recognized Andrew when he came back into the facility for the first time after everything opened back up. It was inspiring to see a kid take it upon himself to make the drastic changes Andrew took on and become the young man that he is today. With that became a completely different athlete and pitcher on the bump, where the velo continued to climb and the offspeed got sharper and sharper. He also became a pivotal hitter and corner infielder for the Braves this past summer. On AND off the field you couldn’t ask for a better representative of the program, and is one of the easiest kids to root for. A quiet and fierce competitor on the diamond, a polite and true gentleman off the field. We are so happy and thrilled for you and your family Andrew, and we can’t wait to watch you compete at the next level. So so so well deserved, congratulations Andrew!!!
