An Update From #BaseballForAll

This past season during the pandemic, Coach Sullivan and the Nokona program started #BaseballForAll, a formed partnership with MLB baseball and their equipment donation program to provide equipment to other countries to further grow the game of baseball.

In April, Nokona sent out a call to action: anyone with used baseball equipment that they would like to donate, reach out and Coach Sullivan or Coach Ambrose would come and pick it up. The response was overwhelming, with Nokona Nation and the surrounding communities donating over a THOUSAND items, including 270 bats, 150 helmets, and over 100 gloves!!!

From there Coach Paulsen coordinated with MLB representatives, and the items were picked up and sent to Santo Domingo and the surrounding area in the Dominican Republic. This past week we received an email with pictures of some of the kids that benefited directly from your generosity and donations.

In a year that had many challenges, the #BaseballForAll initiative was so inspiring. To see so many people rally around one cause, and to see this come to fruition is truly something special and has had us smiling all week.

We can’t thank you enough for your support, and we look forward to expanding this program in the future!
